Forgot to leave a review from the other night . Last Friday(10/4) an hr before they closed i had came in and wanted to get some veggie tacos. I can tell the guy was possibly knew but he made everything great. It was slow and i was the only one ordering at the time but everyone kept themselves busy and was all friendly . Leslie dressed my tacos amazingly and she was nice enough to go above and beyond .When there was no more lemonade and she manage to still grab some for me. Definitely had to leave a tip for everyone as i never been to a cafe Rio at night with amazing workers . Thanks again! I will be back.
Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican is a favorite Vegas restaurant of mine. I normally get a burrito, but this time I felt like trying out their new Build A Bowl from the menu. And if I am feeling extra good I'll also get an order of the Tres Leche for dessert. So delicious!! I need to learn to say no and refrain from eating too many sweets! I wish Cafe Rio had a drive-thru. But I can settle for dining in rather than taking out having to carry my food back to my hotel. The parking is abundant. Parking stalls are open and wide enough for SUV's and spacious for compact vehicles. And even though they share free ample parking spaces in a strip mall, there's a good amount of spaces available. This visit wasn't done during early business hours, but I'm guessing during day time for lunch, you'd have all the selection of proteins. I went in about 1/2 hour before closing and there was only chicken or pork available. Thank goodness for lots of open seating, but I really wish there was steak as an option. And much of the topping selection were gone too. But I settled for shredded pork. Service was fine, it was fast and the restroom was alright as well. Surprised that there was free WiFi too. Can't go wrong with the fact that this location is so nearby to my hotel and just over the I-15 is the Las Vegas Strip. Will I come back for good Mexican food? Sure!
1/6/2024- We try to use the drive thru at 10:30pm which according to the posted sign & the website store should've been opened with service & a smile. However, the 2 AA women inside ignored our presence at the drive thru menu , the drive thru window & at the front door. They were busy with cleaning up & closing the store instead of servicing the new potential client.
Great experience! This Cafe Rio is a new location, so inside is extremely clean, bright, and shiny. The employees were very friendly and helpful during the entire visit. The food was mostly perfect. We just got a bad batch of chicken, because it was dry & chewy. I'll definitely be back.
